Health Standards Organization (HSO) is searching for an exceptional Educational Specialist who shares our passion for achieving quality health services for all. If this role is for you, you’re a natural born teacher with a passion for developing and maintaining high quality learning products and learning experiences that will support the learning needs of both national and international clients and surveyors. Your toolbox is full of instructional design techniques and adult learning principles that allows you to quickly and effectively assess and evaluate learning needs.

We are looking for someone who is excited to bring their instructional design expertise to the table to assess the needs of our surveyors, build and deliver exceptional education solutions. We are also looking for someone with experience facilitating education sessions both in person and virtually. We need an organizational ninja - with agility and preparedness to ensure that all pieces fall smoothly into place.

- Detail-oriented. You’ve heard this before, but we can’t stress it enough: the devil is in the details. You notice big and little mistakes and are comfortable reviewing the work of your team and accepting the thorough review of your own work.

**You have a unique history. Does it include the education and experience listed below?**
- 3-5 years of related work experience in instructional design, corporate training, and/or e-learning.
- 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing role, facilitating client meetings and completing needs assessments.
- 3-5 years of experience facilitating education sessions, both in-person and virtual.
- University degree and/or certificate with a focus in adult education, learning and development, instructional design and instructional technology.
- Knowledge and understanding of learning theory and instructional design techniques.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Expert Level).
- Well-developed skills in e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS).
- Articulate Rise/Storyline 360 (Highly Proficient) experience.
- D2L’s Brightspace LMS (preferred)
- Strong project management skills to carry though education from development to delivery.

- Parlez-vous francais? We’re looking for someone who is ideally bilingual in French and English.

- D2L’s Brightspace LMS
- SharePoint
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere or similar
- Knowledge of HTML
- Are familiar with the healthcare ecosystem in Canada and/or internationally.
- Have experience working with a remote team.
