Contracts Administrator

**Position Scope**:
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze customer and supplier contracts, including Master Supply Agreements, Equipment Purchase Orders, Installation Agreements, and NDAs
- Draft and redline contract terms to protect the company's commercial and legal interests
- Negotiate contract language with customers and vendors in coordination with the legal and leadership team
- Evaluate risks related to warranty, indemnity, liability, delivery terms, tariffs, and penalties, and propose risk mitigation solutions
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, project management, and finance teams to ensure contract terms align with operational realities and timelines
- Support structuring and administration of Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and other financial security instruments to ensure alignment with contractual obligations
- Manage contract lifecycle tracking, including renewals, amendments, and key milestones
- Maintain accurate contract documentation in a centralized system and ensure internal compliance with company policies and procedures
- Support internal stakeholders with contract interpretation and process training as needed
- Stay current with industry regulations, especially those affecting food safety, machinery compliance, and cross-border trade (e.g., Incoterms, tariffs)
Qualifications & Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field (Paralegal certification or legal training preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in contracts administration or legal/commercial roles within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with capital equipment sales, supply contracts, and international trade terms
- Strong working knowledge of legal terms, risk allocation, and negotiation strategies
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management tools (e.g., DocuSign, SharePoint, ERP systems)
