As a CDA at SpeechAim, you will have the opportunity to connect with clients in their daily settings in Toronto and the surrounding regions. This in-person connection allows for an organic skill generalization into their day-to-day lives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Offer intervention to children with various speech & language delays and disorders, such as receptive & expressive language, articulation, and phonology.
- Operate under the direct supervision of a speech-language pathologist.
- Maintain accurate records in line with the standards set by the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
- Engage in caregiver education and offer practice materials for home settings.

**Requirements**:

- Graduate certificate in Communicative Disorders Assistant.
- Active membership with the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC).
- Experience or keen interest in working with the autistic population.
- Familiarity with neurodiversity affirming practices and Natural Language Acquisition.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and possess strong communication skills.
- Multi-lingual proficiency is an added advantage.
- Must carry professional liability insurance.
- Reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

**Job Types**: Contract, Full/Part-Time

**Salary**: From $65.00 to $78.00 per session

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Graduate certificate in Communicative Disorders Assistant (required)
