The Company:
Ayeon Enterprises Inc. is a well-renowned wholesaler that distributes various types of disposable food packaging and restaurant supplies to local businesses. We support hundreds of distributors in the lower mainland, provide them with high-quality products. We assist our distributors to reduce their warehouse burden.

Job duties:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of purchasing operations within an establishment, including planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating activities;
- Ensure that the organization has sufficient inventory levels to meet its needs, while also minimizing excess inventory and associated costs;
- Develop purchasing policies and procedures and control purchasing department budget;
- Formulate and implement efficient purchasing strategies, refining current purchasing procedures, establishing purchasing policies and protocols, as well as managing the budget of the purchasing department;
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with vendors, and reviewing and revising contracts as necessary;
- Identify potential vendors, evaluating their products and services, and selecting the most appropriate vendors to work with;
- Monitor and ensure that purchased goods and services meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and policies;
- Addresses vendor complaints and resolves any issues that may arise during the procurement process;
- Coordinates with logistics companies to schedule and track each delivery, ensuring they arrive on time and maintaining a stable supply of goods;
- Stay informed about new technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to purchasing and supply chain management;
- May coordinate with HR team in hiring and training new department staff.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or College diploma in business administration, commerce or economics
- 3 or more years of relevant experience is preferred for this position
- Must have string leadership skills
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $44.71-$50.00 per hour

- Burnaby, BC V3N 0E9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
