Marketing Content Specialist

Our owner, Ben Garvey, started Enginuity in his basement 19 years ago with only one contract. To date, we employ 40+ experts and are quickly growing due to an exceptionally high demand for our services and unique approach. We work with dozens of corporations, inventors, and strategic partners to design, prototype, and manufacture world-class products and processes.

**Job Summary**:
As part of our small in-house Marketing ‘hub’ your output will often be potential clients’ first impression of Enginuity. Your role will be to enable the business development team for success, collaborate with colleagues to capture the essence of the business, foster conversations with our target market, and to drive strategic marketing direction.

As an engineering design company, Enginuity lives and dies by the work we complete for clients. Telling the story of ‘what we do’ and ‘how we do it’ is a powerful way of driving business, promoting our clients and ensuring that Enginuity is the company that comes to mind.

You:

- Work with the team to establish a content strategy for each Program
- Define and agree on a project brief for each story
- Work with the team to identify words and phrases that support our SEO strategy
- Build a rapport with clients to understand their challenge and how we have helped them.
- Discuss the project with internal project staff to get to the ‘story’ of what we did, why it’s special and how it made a difference for our clients
- Use your own intuition and resources to research the back story, find the angle, dig deeper, find the value.
- Write the story
- Work with the team to come up with content ideas, graphical support and media to support the story

You are a creative storyteller with:

- A curious mind, keen to find the excitement in what we do for our clients
- Familiarity with the importance of Search Engine Optimization
- A love for wordsmithing (without being wordy)
- Courage to try your best to understand technical details
- An outgoing personality with great communication skills

You have:

- At least three years of experience in a technical marketing role.
- A degree in Humanities, Liberal Arts, Journalism (attitude and experience always trumps education).
- Awesome work ethic and attitude, bursting with energy and enthusiasm.
- A desire to make and affect change.

To the public, we answer questions and attend meetings between 9am -5pm.
