Rapport Credit Union is owned by our members, and we provide a full range of banking services, from savings and chequing accounts to loans and mortgages to financial planning and investment management. The Member Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional service to Rapport members by performing cash and non-cash transactions through a limited range of financial services while also promoting our products and services, ensuring security measures taken at all times. The incumbent will promote all of Rapport’s products and services and resolve any member issues within set standards and timelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proficient in performing day-to-day banking transactions, accuracy in cash balancing, general ledger balancing and month end balancing duties. Process all transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintains proper custody of cash holdings, adheres to guidelines related to security, privacy, hold funds policy, anti-money laundering and compliance practices.
- Identify and promote opportunities to cross sell Rapport’s products and services and successfully refer investment and lending opportunities to appropriate sales staff. Proactive in making outbound calls and soliciting for products and services to demonstrate benefits and features to meet members’ needs.
- Effectively handle members concerns using Problem Resolution skills, attentive listening and following process through to resolution.

**Education and Experience**:

- Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business, Accounting or relevant.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in retail business or financial services industry with experience handling cash in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with banking products and services an asset.
