Your role at Clorox:
Acts as the sales representative and voice on the business team, supporting the Sales Planning Manager on the Brita & Specialty business team. Supports the development and deployment of AMPS (Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing and Shelving) strategies and tactics and brand priorities. Acts as the catalyst to ensure actions are in place to secure AMPS objectives, and supports the communication of key volume drivers impacting the sales forecast.
In this role, you will:
1. Tactical alignment between customer teams and business unit teams- Supports and facilitates sales input into demand forecast- Supports secondary pack/display program and forecasts with both customer teams and supply chain. Work with sec pack team in development of new displays as required to meet customer requirements- Supports sales responsibility on allocation process- Supports trade strategy development, execution evaluation, tracking and communication- Supports the tracking of business team trade spend budget within sales & trade spend tool
2. AMPS (Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing & Shelving) strategy development, communication and monitoring- Support SPM in development and execution of AMPS strategy- Supports sales input into Customer Planning process- Support sales releases including product launches and discontinuations- Ensures appropriate sales tools & resources such as product catalogue,- secondary pack menu and AMPS guidelines are in place to deliver AMPS- Supports insight and direction into trade spend strategy and spend rates necessary to deliver AMPS objectives- Support the execution of brand specific initiatives for sales
3. Working with external customer teams (tactical requests and support - AMPS focused)- Supports customer requests and meetings and joint business planning sessions as necessary- Ongoing weekly/biweekly meetings with major key account teams
4. Brand Volume, Net Customer Sales (NCS) and profit results- Support National delivery of NCS, volume and profit for brand(s)
What we look for:
- Minimum 3 years sales/account management and/or category management / analytics experience in CPG / Grocery Retail industry
- Individual must demonstrate strong process and analytical mindset, with great attention to detail
- Strong Category Business Planning and Insights
- Demonstrated aptitude to predict what projects will have the greatest impact to the business to enable effective prioritization
- Proven organization and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success in driving results
