Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with seniors would be a benefit
- Previous experience with event planning, organization and implementation.
- Clear Vulnerable Persons Screening dated with ten months prior to employment start date.
- TB Skin Test dated within 14 days prior to start of employment.
- Creative and highly motivated.
- Familiarity with community resources.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
- Be able to communicate effectively with residents, family members and staff.
- Able to work as part of a team and to work independently.

**Duties**:

- Assist with programs, events, weekend activities
- Assist with facility décor, including dining room table centerpieces
- Ensure all activity areas are clean and in a safe condition.
- Encourage and escort residents to programs, enlisting the aid of other staff members as required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 4 - 10 per week

**Salary**: Up to $1.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
