**About Us**:
At Almita Piling, we take pride in our position as North America's leading provider of manufacturing, design, supply, and installation services for helical piles. We're looking for a **Shipping and Receiving Coordinator** to ensure smooth operations of incoming and outgoing shipments at our Ponoka facility.

**Purpose of the Role**:
The **Shipping and Receiving Coordinator** is responsible for overseeing all shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy, organization, and efficiency in our storage yard and inventory system.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and verify shipments, ensuring accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Communicate with Sales, Production, and Procurement regarding shipping details and issues.
- Organize storage areas, ensuring materials are stored safely in designated locations.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on equipment; ensure all tools are clean and operational.
- Safely unload transportation flat-decks, ensuring proper identification and tracking of materials.
- Inspect and verify incoming raw materials against supplier documentation, rejecting damaged goods.
- Measure a minimum of 10% of each product load received to confirm specifications.
- Assist in prioritizing outgoing shipment loads based on company requirements.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company procedures.
- Process shipping and receiving documentation through the ERP system.
- Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe yard environment, including seasonal snow removal.
- Operate loading equipment safely and adhere to company policies.

**What We’re Looking For**:
**Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent.
**Certifications**: Forklift certification required, WHMIS, First Aid (preferred, but training available).
**Experience**: 3+ years in shipping/receiving; experience with inventory and cycle counts; understanding of ISO and quality assurance standards.
**Skills**: Strong problem-solving, time management, communication, and coordination skills.
**Physical Requirements**: Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, exposure to loud noise, and ability to lift/move heavy materials.
