SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Purchasing/Inside sales position is a key role to the Gateway team. This role well be responsible for providing exceptional level of customer service in support of the business of service and part sales to the market, ensuring outstanding efforts are made to support repeat business, by assisting our service team, parts team/order desk and with administrative duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responds to customers via telephone, or electronically in a timely and courteous manner; delivers strong service and salesmanship through all communication channels.

- Service processing and issuing various invoices, purchase orders, and shipping/ receiving documents, lose part sales in a timely manner
- Actively monitor material organization, stocking levels, & accuracy and organization in the stock room
- Diligently follow Check-lists, policies, processes & procedures
- Maintain a safe & positive work environment

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Grade 12 Education | Prior experience is an asset
- Permanent resident of Canada
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, problem-solving and attention to detail
- Valid drivers licence
- Able to deal with changes, delays, or unexpected events in a professional & timely manner
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Basic computer skills
- Sage experience is an asset but not required

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Positional Tasks
- Ability to lift heavy objects
