**Job description**

CASSEN Testing Laboratories is a leading laboratory in chemical analysis in Canada. We specialize in unique and high quality services including indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, environmental, consumer products, and other analytical services both in Canada and Internationally. Located near the Toronto Pearson International Airport, the laboratory has a wealth of knowledge in solving chemical problems as well as producing quality work recognised internationally.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet clients and visitors with a courteous and professional manner, facilitating sign-in and other security procedures within the laboratory.
- Answer and direct incoming calls and inquiries to the appropriate department and/or personnel.
- Provide clients with general information for analytical methods, sampling media, and sampling techniques.
- Receive packages and log-in client projects, requirements, and details into the laboratory information management system (LIMS).
- Maintain positive relationships with all clients through timely responses and updates.
- Work closely with laboratory personnel and management to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow.
- Management of sampling media and other supplies.
- Administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and shipping packages.
- Other related work or duties assigned as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
- Adhere to company policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education is required; chemistry or science background is an asset.
- Previous experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
- Strong client service mindset with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Strong Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
- Excellent time management and detail-oriented skills.
- Highly responsible including strong attendance record and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

**Working days are Monday to Friday between 8:30am to 5pm onsite.**
