The Country Club Pet Resort is now looking to hire Kennel Technicians. In this role as a Pet Caregiver you will be caring for multiple pets.
Kennel Technicians are responsible for the daily care of dogs, cats & critters. Some of the responsibilities include but not limited to, cleaning enclosures, litter boxes, dog runs & parks. In addition, Kennel Technicians are responsible for exercising, feeding, medicating, basic grooming, plus more.
As a Pet Caregiver the challenges can be, from winning a shy pet over to working with a strict time sensitive schedule. The Country Club Pet Resort will provide training to enhance individuals ability to work with all the pets in their care.
The position requires individuals to be self-motivated, hard working, physically fit, good customer relations, punctual and above all, reliable There is a fair amount walking, bending & lifting involved. It is more than just playing with animals. However, this is defiantly a bonus when working with pets. This job can be very fulfilling.
As a Pet Caregiver we work with live pets so we are open 365 days a year. Our work schedule is on a continual rotating basis. This position requires individuals to work weekdays, weekends & long weekends (Statutory holidays)
Animal handling experience is an asset, not mandatory.
