We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Female **Private Caregiver** to provide in-home support for a client living in **Bearspaw (Rockyview), NW of Calgary**. This role is focused on ensuring the safety, comfort, and quality of life for an individual with **severe dementia**, a two person assist, while offering reliable weekend coverage.

**Position Details**
- Schedule**:Every weekend, with one weekend off per month**:

- Hours**:Approx. 48 hours per month (with potential for additional hours)**:

- Rate**:$20/hour**:

- Location: Bearspaw (must live within a **25-minute radius** and have your own transportation)
- Environment**:Pet-friendly home**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support safe mobility and transfers using a lift
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Monitor changes in client condition and communicate effectively with family/care team
- Provide specialized dementia care with patience and compassion
- Deliver palliative comfort care support as needed

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Experience in dementia and memory care is essential; palliative care experience is a strong asset
- Confident and safe in using lifts/transfer equipment
- Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or long-term care settings preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
- German Language an asset
