Inside Sales Specialist

Expertec is a leading turnkey provider of van and truck outfitting with four (4) locations in North America, headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta. We design and install tailored solutions for industrial and commercial service vehicles including aluminum slide-in service bodies, Spacekaps, van shelving, and more.
The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales through effective customer service, managing customer inquiries, and providing support to Client Relations Specialist. This role involves a combination of responding to inbound customer requests, following up on leads, and identifying potential opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Interaction & Sales**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Upsell and cross-sell products and services to increase revenue.
- Process customer orders and ensure seamless hand-off to operations.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas.
**Customer Service**:
- Resolve or direct customer questions, issues, concerns, or complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Provide accurate information regarding product features, pricing, and availability.
- Manage customer accounts and update contact information.
**Sales Support**:
- Assist the Client Relations Specialists by qualifying leads, preparing sales quotes, scheduling meetings and providing informational support.
- Collaborate with other departments, including operations, design and estimating and finance, to ensure smooth transactions and resolve any issues.
**Product Knowledge**:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's product and service offerings.
- Attend product training sessions and stay informed about new product launches.
- Educate customers on the value and benefits of the products.
**Data Management & Reporting**:
- Enter and manage data in CRM software, ensuring all customer interactions are recorded accurately.
- Track and report sales performance and customer feedback to management.
- Analyze customer trends and provide insights to improve sales strategies.
- **Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned**
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent required. A degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields is a plus.
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role. Experience in commercial fleet upfitting, automotive parts and or B2B is preferred.
- **Skills**:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of motivation and a sales-driven mindset.
