The Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage will assist the Manager(s), Food & Beverage with all aspects of strategic planning and management of Restaurant and Bars/ Outlet/Banquet and or Conference departments. This role is directly responsible for the performance of the service team and leadership of the day-to-day operations. The position works closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, Food and Beverage Control managers, Supervisors, and other Food and Beverage personnel.

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of a Food and Beverage facility; ensuring the execution, service and quality meets or exceeds Blue Mountain and departmental standards.
- Manages orders and inventory levels in accordance with seasonal business fluctuations by maintaining knowledge of on-hand liquor, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic selections.
- Provides leadership to service team members through training, mentorship, and performance reviews.
- Conducts pre-shift meetings with staff and reviews all information pertinent to the daily operations.
- Resolves guest complaints with the highest level of professionalism in compliance with hospitality division standards.
- Creates the team; recruits, selects, schedules employees.
- Manages payroll. Coordinate the marketing of the BU’s.
- Develop promotions that will attract new business.
- Work with marketing department to develop effective marketing initiatives.

**WHAT DO YOU NEED OF ME?**
- 3+ years Food and Beverage experience preferably in high-volume Food and Beverage operations
- 2+ years’ experience at a supervisor level
- College Diploma in hospitality or related field is a asset
- Experience working front line in a professional atmosphere
- Proven leadership skills with passion and optimism that inspires respect and trust
