- Take the lead in recommending and developing new or improved processes, procedures, standards, and software tools to enhance the productivity of the team
- Play a leading role in providing technical governance across all delivery streams by actively contributing to pre-sales activity, customer estate analysis and high level designs.
- Work with the wider technology teams on a global level to ensure product development and roadmap is relevant and current.
- Lead the delivery of well tested technical solutions with documented requirements
- Provide advice to assist retail customers with understanding new business processes and how to best achieve benefits from the Aptos technical portfolio
- Provide accurate estimates for project work, appropriate to own level of experience or expertise
- Deliver appropriate technical training and support to internal and external users, testers, and support teams
- Demonstrate full competence in own areas, and share this expertise with others - providing mentoring, guidance, support, and promoting effective teamwork and knowledge sharing
- Complete role with mínimal supervision
- Review and organize the work of a team of Technical Consultant professionals to deliver to agreed budgets, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Establish good working relationships with peers in other areas of the business (Project Management, Client Care, Sales etc.)

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2-years experience in computer science, or data analysis
- SQL Server/ Database - MS/ Scripting / Cloud Hosted Solutions - Exposure / SSAS / SSRS / SSIS
- Automation - Powershell, VBS
- IIS Configuration
- DNS / DHCP / Enterprise Systems Administration / Windows Server / Windows Embedded / Windows 7, 8 & 10 / Database - SQL Replication and Disaster Recovery Architectures /Industry Security Best Practices Knowledge (CIS/NIST) / Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Active Directory administration and configuration / Group Policy development and management / Windows imaging and deployment (WIM/SYSPREP) / Software Packaging and Deployment / Automated software builds and upgrades / / Database - Planning and Installation
- Server Template Cloning & Creation / Retail Specific Hardware Mobile Devices / Database - Performance Tuning and Analysis / Networking - WAN / LAN / / Wi-Fi, (Security/Connectivity/Management)
- Demonstrate technical competence in the software solutions and implementation methodologies associated with the role
- Ability to lead and deliver technical implementation tasks (while understanding the functionality and impact of any 3rd party systems
- Ability to say no to technical decisions if they do not deliver value to either Aptos or the customer
- Be an extremely self-motivated individual with a varied and wide ranging knowledge of the technology landscape and a natural desire to continue learning and developing
- Exceptional strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail
- Work independently as well as part of a wider team
- Capable of delivering to time and budget and right the first time
- Ability to manage and prioritize work on multiple projects simultaneously
