The Hangar Billiards and Sports lounge, a Premier Billiard Facility with top of the line tables and equipment in the South West area of Winnipeg is currently looking to expand our hardworking heart of the business kitchen team

Job duties and responsibilities:

- Understands and complies consistently with standard portion sizes, methods, and quality standards.
- Able to open or close the restaurant as part of a team, following check lists and maintaining the standards set in place by The Hangar.
- Follows standardized recipes every time accurately.
- Willing and ready to assist fellow co-workers and work as part of the team.
- Works fast and accurately, with knowledge of operating all kitchen equipment safely.
- Creates prep lists and prepares food according to standardized recipes and restaurant requirements.
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods.
- Supports the kitchen and staff in all other necessary areas.
