**Procurement Coordinator**

**Key Information**:

- ** 3+ years of procurement experience an asset.**:

- ** Must be able to develop and maintain consistent procurement standards and specifications.**:

- ** Hours: Based on a 40-hour work week (8 hours a day, Monday - Friday) Over time as required.**:

- ** Hourly rate is dependent on experience.**:

- ** Health benefits and vacation pay offered.**
- ** Responsible for managing primary vendor contracts and securing regular contract tenders for efficient and competitive pricing.**:

- ** Responsible for developing and maintaining consistent procurement standards and specifications.**:

- Ensures appropriate policies and procedures are in place.
- Regularly strives to find potential cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Other duties as related to the day-to-day operations.

**Experience and Certification Requirements**:

- 3+ years of procurement experience an asset.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work both independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work.

**Education**: Completion of high school is required.
