**Skilled Labourer (Sewer and Watermain)**

**Reporting to**:Foreperson

**Location**:Ottawa West

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the installation of water mains, sewer lines, and other underground utilities
- Digging trenches using hand tools and grade work sites
- Assisting in the assembly and installation of pipe sections and fittings
- Laying and joining pipes using various materials such as concrete, PVC, ductile iron, and steel
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment
- Performing other duties as assigned by the crew leader or supervisor

**Requirements**:

- 1 to 3 years of experience in underground pipe laying or assisting pipe layers
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 25 to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Valid drivers license and own mode of transportation required
- Work in all weather conditions
