Skilled Construction Labourer – Renovation & Multi-Unit Projects (Ottawa)

Johnson Construction 613 Inc. is hiring a Skilled Construction Labourer to join our growing renovation team in Ottawa, Ontario.

We specialize in high-quality residential renovations, large renovations, and multi-unit conversions (SDUs and triplexes). What You'll Do

  • Assist carpenters, foremen, and other trades on renovation and conversion projects
  • Perform demolition, framing support, drywall prep, and material handling
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Set up and maintain clean, organized job sites
  • Load and unload materials, equipment, and debris
  • Support daily project operations and follow direction from site leads
  • Contribute to a positive, professional team environment

Who We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of construction or renovation experience required (residential preferred)
  • Working knowledge of tools, materials, and basic building practices
  • Physically able to lift, carry, and move construction material.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors year-round
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
  • Bonus skills: framing, drywall, insulation, flooring, or finish carpentry
