THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our Creative Store Design team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for designing our world-class, aspirational boutiques, offices, and distribution centres. As Technical Fabricator, Creative Design you will support with all preparation and organization for incoming & outgoing OFI shipments, accurately managing inventory levels ensuring the right items and materials are always on hand while supporting the prototyping & development of internally developed finishes and fixtures. And, with your valuable contribution to the business in this role, you will be rewarded and recognized for your expertise and impact.

THE ROLE

As the Technical Fabricator, you will:

- Support with the prototyping, development, and in house production of new finishes and fixtures for our spaces, assisting with the procurement of materials and vendor management as required
- For new stores, lead the crating, staging, & shipping of owner furnished items for all new stores ensuring all outgoing shipments are accurately documented and communicated
- For closing stores, ensure all owner furnished items returning for storage is verified, checked for damage, repaired as required, tagged, and stored in an organized fashion
- Receive all incoming shipments and accurately manage inventory levels, initiating the procurement of additional stock as required when inventory levels are low

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Technical Fabricator has:

- Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in wood fabrication and material finishes and finishing techniques
- An understanding of Aritzia’s brand vision and style fundamentals with a focus on trends and cultural influences
