**About Us**

Furniture Spot & Mattress Outlet is a locally owned, fast-growing retailer serving Halifax and surrounding areas. We’re known for high-quality furniture and mattresses at unbeatable value, backed by local service and fast delivery.

We’re looking for a **hands-on Marketing & Content Manager** to take full ownership of our marketing strategy and execution, overseeing ads, content, video production, and website performance on **Shopify**. You’ll work directly with ownership and a small, driven team that values initiative, accountability, and creativity.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and manage monthly and quarterly marketing plans aligned with store sales goals
- Oversee all digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, SEO) and ensure strong ROI
- Manage and update website content, collections, and promotions on **Shopify**:

- Create and edit engaging short-form videos using **CapCut** and **Adobe Premiere**:

- Use tools such as **SEMrush**, **Google Analytics**, **Shopify Analytics**, and **Meta Business Suite** to track and improve performance
- Report key marketing metrics (ROAS, CTR, CPA, engagement) to ownership with recommendations for improvement
- Manage budgets, creative assets, and timelines for campaigns and projects
- Collaborate with sales and operations to connect marketing activity directly to in-store results
- Ensure consistent branding, tone, and storytelling across all marketing platforms

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of marketing management or digital marketing experience (retail or e-commerce preferred)
- Experience managing **Shopify** websites (content updates, analytics, promotions)
- Strong understanding of **Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, and analytics**:

- Proficient in **CapCut** and **Adobe Premiere** for video editing
- Experienced with **SEMrush**, **Meta Business Suite**, and Google tools
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
- Creative, analytical, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment

**Compensation & Benefits**
- **Salary**: $50,000-$65,000 per year (depending on experience and performance)
