**Requirements and Skills**
- You are positive and enthusiastic - a role model for little minds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Clear Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search.
- CPR and Standard First Aid Level B or C Certification.
- Alberta Child Care Certification, or a willingness to obtain.
- Willing to be part of a team and collaborate with your co-workers.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;**
- Provide full care for all children from parent drop-off to pick-up.
- Plan and lead appropriate emergent programming based on Summit’s foundational components.
- Dedication to supporting the growth and healthy development of children that encourages an appreciation of learning and discovery.
- Observe and document children’s development.
- Build positive relationships with parents, children, co-workers, school administration, etc.

Compensation Includes:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour plus Government Wage Enhancement top up.

Additional $1.50 per hour shift premium at our Cochrane location.

Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cochrane, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification or willingness to get one? (required)
- Child Care Certification Level 1 or willingness to get one? (required)
