PermitNow is an Alberta-based firm that focuses on transport permits. We assist businesses with any and all permit activities including overweight/oversize, temporary trip/fuel and super loads across a variety of industries within Canada and the United States.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

- Generate leads and contact potential Clients to promote our services.
- Attend meetings with Clients.
- Assist in the creation and management of contracts.
- Negotiate Client agreements for current partners and identify new industry opportunities.
- Prepare, develop and ensure high-quality proposals and presentations.
- Meet with Clients regularly while actively seeking out and developing new business opportunities.
- Build, maintain and strengthen external networks and partnerships to ensure effective business relationships.
- Effectively network to develop, build and maintain successful relationships within the Indigenous Community.

Qualifications of a Business Development Mangers:

- Ability to create intiatives and follow them through to completion.
- Socialization and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills. Ability to understand customer requirements and to produce highly professional proposals and presentations.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a positive attitude towards scaling the business.
- Knowledge and understanding of local Indigenous culture and traditions (courses available).
- General knowledge and understanding of the trucking industry.

This position is based in Camrose AB, but will require travel throughout the province. Valid Class 5 license is required.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
