**THE ROLE**:
You are a detail oriented individual with a talent for accurate organization and communication of information. You are committed to delivering service excellence to our customers by ensuring their orders of kitchen equipment are filled 100% accurately and received on-time. You thrive in a faced-paced environment and communicate constantly to everyone around you.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Maintains a network of professional contacts in order to discover new opportunities for good deals on orders
- Follow up with suppliers to provide updates on product arrival schedules to Sales and Customer Service teams;
- Comparison shop and negotiate to make sure the company gets the best possible prices on needed supplies;
- Stays familiar with the company's needs;
- Makes supply orders;
- Investigate over-shipments;
- Confirming incoming purchase orders;
- Accurately resolve vendor price discrepancies;
- Communication with all departments to ensure orders are being filled and received accurately and on time;
- Above all a willingness to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Attend trade shows, supplier meetings and sales meetings;
- Other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Some post-secondary courses would be an asset, especially in purchasing or business;
- Accurate and detail-oriented with strong mathematical skills;
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities;
- Computer savvy with good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.;
- Strong, positive communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively through stressful situations;
