**Position Overview**

We are seeking a summer intern to join our Health and Safety team at Beedie. We are looking for a driven, energetic student who can work well in a collaborative team environment. This opportunity will provide valuable insight into the overall Health and Safety dynamic across all stages of the industrial construction process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Aid in organizing and developing of Safety Reports
- Assist in updates to the Health and Safety Program, Policies and Procedures
- Assist with completion of COR Audit Action plans
- Complete monthly safety statistics and injury report
- Assist in reporting incidents/accidents, investigations, root cause analysis and submitting reports as required
- Assist in the coordination of safety training and orientation programs
- Review and follow-up on corrective measures including recommendations of the JOSH committee
- Order safety supplies as require
- Support CSO’s in assigned project‐based work and accompany them on inspections and complete on own as required
- Provide site coverage where needed
- Help with Safety administration of documents. (meeting minutes, statistics, etc.)

Your annual salary will be $46,800 ($24/per hour)

In-person interviews will be conducted from February 20th - 27th in our Burnaby head office.
