**CHEO RI and BORN Ontario has an immediate requirement for a Research Coordinator.**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting to the Research Director and with supervision by the Senior Research Coordinator:

- Administer research studies and projects.
- Assist with Research Ethics Board (REB) and/or grant submissions.
- Be responsible for tracking and updating all REBs.
- Assist with qualitative data collection and analysis.
- Assist with protocol development.
- Conduct literature searches and summarize relevant information.
- Develop and administer surveys in REDCap.
- Track BORN publications.
- Contribute to the preparation of research reports, publications, posters and presentations for conferences.
- Perform various administrative duties related to ongoing research.
- Coordinate, organize and chair relevant research meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by senior research coordinator and manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- University undergraduate degree in nursing, psychology, health sciences, or related field. (Essential)
- Masters in a Health or research-related field. (Essential)
- Minimum 3 years research-related experience. (Essential)
- Understanding of clinical research design, guidelines and standards. (Essential)
- Research Coordination experience. (Essential)
- Qualitative research knowledge/experience. (Essential)
- Understanding of mixed methods research design and procedures. (preferred)
- Experience with REB submissions in ROMEO. (Highly Preferred)
- Experience building and administering surveys in REDCap. (preferred)
- Experience conducting literature reviews and using reference management software. (preferred)
- Knowledge translation experience/knowledge. (preferred)
- Experience with protection of personal health information and privacy requirements. (preferred)
- Experience in report writing, publication and communication briefs. (preferred)
- Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office). (Essential)
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills. (Essential)
- Demonstrated collegiality, professionalism and team skills. (Essential)
- Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to work independently. (Essential)
- Bilingualism (English/French). (preferred)

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid work model that includes remote work and occasional on-site work.
- Able to be flexible with working hours to meet deadlines with mínimal supervision.
