**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Ensure timely payment of accounts payable and provide support in accounting as needed
- Complete necessary banking in coordination with staff and lawyers
- Manage office maintenance and office supply issues as needed
- Provide support to law clerks with filing, scanning, data entry, and information management
- Manage lawyer association memberships and support registration in continuing professional development
- Begin entry-level legal assistant and law clerk tasks including file opening, billing, and simple document preparation

**Requirements and Skills**
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent client service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Resourceful and independent
- Competency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat required
- Experience with Excel, Zoom, Docusign and accounting software (legal or otherwise) is an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college or university degree is an asset
- Experience in an office or legal environment is an asset

Pay: $38,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
