**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support chefs and other kitchen staff in daily operations as needed.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge related to food handling and preparation.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality meal preparation.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A willingness to learn new cooking techniques and adapt to changing menus.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 40 per week
