Assistant Priest for Congregational Life and Community Engagement, Cathedral Church of All Saints
7 days ago
The Cathedral Church of All Saints, Halifax / Deadline February 28, 2025
**Our Mission**
We are called to be a place of hope in God’s world: where God is worshipped with heart, mind and voice; where Christ’s peace and justice are sought; and where strangers can become friends. We are delighted to have you consider joining our ministry team. We, at the Cathedral Church of All Saints, are a diverse lot, from many Christian backgrounds, non-Christian backgrounds, and no faith backgrounds. We come for Christian community, to find God in relationships with neighbours and new friends. We come for lessons from the incredible life of Jesus Christ. We come for spiritual rest, time to think, pray, and center on God, for comfort in hard times, and gratitude in good times. We come to serve God, each other, and the world. We’re not perfect. We trust in God’s gentle grace and unconditional love. We seek meaning for the life God has gifted us. We welcome each other, no matter who we are, or what we look like, or what labels the world puts on us. We dare to welcome all because God, and not any human authority, extends this gracious invitation. (Galatians 3:28-29)
**Parish Summary**
The Cathedral Church of All Saints is the Cathedral Church for the Anglican Diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, Canada, located on the unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. We strive to be an inclusive downtown Halifax church. Our services, both online and in-person, cover traditional and contemporary Anglican worship, prayer, and music with a world-class choir.
- Our parish community of over 315 individuals and families supports and advocates for a number of critical outreach programs.
