The Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth and the Saint Mary’s Cathedral Basilica seek a Secretary/Receptionist. The Receptionist will work on-site at the Catholic Diocesan Centre in Downtown Halifax. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Reporting to the Rector of Saint Mary’s Cathedral Basilica, the Receptionist is the first point of contact for all telephone and in-person inquiries and is responsible for providing information, direction, and assistance to individuals, parishes, and archdiocesan staff. In addition, the Receptionist will perform administrative and clerical responsibilities that require attention to detail, strong communication skills (written and oral), and a solution-focused mindset.
