Established in 1973, Vanderwesten & Rutherford Associates Inc. (V&R) provides mechanical & electrical engineering design services to a variety of clients and facilities including institutional, healthcare, elementary secondary and post-secondary, residential/affordable housing, industrial, municipal and recreational. The firm which has full offices in London and Ottawa, is currently looking for a Marketing and Administrative Coordinator to join our growing London team.
Position Details:
- Preparation of reports, proposals, and specifications and other correspondence.
- Proofread and edit materials to ensure quality of language, proper format and accuracy of content.
- Creation of new digital marketing materials and initiatives.
- Maintain and update company social media presence including the company website, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Working independently and with various staff members to ensure accuracy and maintain organization of filing system, which includes catalogues, files and drawings.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, organizing business orders and mailing, greet clients as they enter the office.
- Work to deadlines, and overtime when required to meet project schedules.
- Provide leadership and help formulate company strategies and policies in areas that affect the clerical department.
- Participate in the Social Committee to provide company events including internal office and family events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
- The ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- G license and own vehicle (office is not accessible by bus)

**Salary**: $15.00-$23.59 per hour
