**Overview**
Caring Hearts is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer student to support our education, outreach, and communications efforts. This role is ideal for a post-secondary student with interests in communications, psychology, social work, education, or health sciences. Over the course of 9 weeks, the student will assist with developing and promoting grief and trauma education content, contributing to outreach and social media activities, organizing education materials, supporting the development of program evaluation tools, and contributing to ongoing research.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Education Content Development**:

- Assist the Education Director in creating and refining educational materials on grief and trauma.
- Ensure materials reflect best practices and are consistent with Caring Hearts’ brand and messaging.
- **Outreach and Communications**:

- Develop and schedule engaging social media content aligned with Caring Hearts' brand guidelines.
- Assist in planning and executing community outreach activities to promote programs and services.
- **Program Evaluation**:

- Collect and analyze participant feedback to support program improvements.
- **Archiving and Content Management**:

- Review, organize, and archive historical educational content and resources.
- Develop an accessible digital filing system for internal use.
- **Research Support**:

- Conduct literature reviews and collect current data on topics related to grief, trauma, and mental health.
- Summarize findings to inform education content and organizational learning.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (e.g., communications, psychology, social work, education, or health sciences).
- Exceptional communication and writing skills, with attention to tone and audience.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Interest in mental health, grief, trauma, or nonprofit communications is an asset.

**Additional Information**:

- This position is funded through a summer student program. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements (e.g., returning to school in the fall).
