**Position Description**
- Job Type: Part Time initially; Full time within 3 months
- Location: Regina, Saskatchewan & local area
- Some remote work and community travel
- Administrative, supervisory position
- This position reports directly to the Director of Client Support

**Assistant Home Care Bridging Program Coordinator**
- The Assistant Home Care Program Coordinator will provide support in building a skilled, effective, caring team to service our client base, as well as schedule the Bridging team’s client visits.
- The ability to provide effective supervision and coaching for team members to develop the team’s personal and professional skills as related to serving Helping Hands’ clients is an important requirement of this position.

**Required Qualifications**
- Thorough knowledge of personal care support techniques; you are preferably a retired nurse CCA or SCA or similar experience in a health care profession.
- Client assessment skills and awareness of when to seek additional professional supports.
- Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration between our team and clients.
- Ability to step in and provide direct care when necessary; this requires a lack of any health concerns which would prevent you from being able to provide direct care.
- Must hold or obtain first aid & CPR certification, Personal Care Worker Course or hold an educational equivalent, TLR, PART, Medications Training, Safe Food Handling, WHIMIS.
- Valid Driver’s License and 24/7 access to a reliable vehicle.
- Criminal record check.
- Ability to work unsupervised and show excellent initiative.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
