**Position Summary**
To work on a team to support the Vice President and Project Planners/Engineers to manage and oversee assigned development projects from acquisition to assumption. **Please note that this is a 6-month contract, with the possibility of contract extension.**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative Engineering and Planning support to the Project Managers on projects from raw land through planning and development stages, up to and including final assumptions of the project;
- Provide Engineering and/or Planning knowledge to Project Managers as they conduct their daily duties.
- Assist to monitor construction sites to manage schedule and costing,
- Manage sub-contractors to confirm work plan and assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority;
- Review and approve invoices to forward to Project Manager,
- Provide direction and assistance to staff and fellow managers;
- Assist in the management of project letters of credit;
- Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, client and legislated Safety policies and procedures;
- Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned, from time to time.

**Education and Experience**
- Currently taking a degree in a business discipline, Civil Engineering (CET) and/or Planning
- Knowledge of proposals, account planning, strategic analysis and operational effectiveness;
- Knowledge of applicable Provincial legislation;
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Ability to work under pressure, deal with multiple deadlines, effectively handle stressful situations;
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with customers;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when required to meet deadlines;
**Working Conditions**
- Typical office hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Additional hours may be required;
- Requires a moderate amount of sitting for prolonged periods of time while using the computer. Moderate amount of non-standard hours of work are required.
