**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a student or recent graduate to join our Interior Region team to support the Regional Human Resources Team for a 4 to 8 month term.
**As a health and wellness organization, the First Nations Health Authority has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.**
**Qualifications**:
- Must be attending or recently graduated from a post-secondary institution focusing on Human Resources or Business.
- Experience working in First Nations or Indigenous organizations is an asset.
- Provides support and coordination through the full life cycle of the recruitment process, including creating posting jobs, job posters, written assessments, and Interview questions.
- Administers written assessments and scheduling of prescreens and interviews.
- Supports the onboarding and orientation plan for new hires. Ensures adequate physical and IT resources are available prior to joining the new incumbent. Ensures new hire is welcomed on their first day.
- Supports in planning, organizing, and coordinating recruitment projects and initiatives, as needed including student recruitment, career fairs, and community and regional outreach.
- Supports building relationships with external stakeholders, such as career fairs, education connections, and other First Nations organizations in the Interior Region.
- Collaborates and participates in Health Human Resources initiatives as required, including increasing awareness about health careers and the number of Aboriginal students entering health career studies.
- Ensures consistency, equality, and objectivity in the recruitment process while establishing interview panels, administering assessments, collecting forms, checking and maintaining documentation and references
- Supports the marketing campaign at the organizational level for recruitment and talent development within the First Nations communities.
- Shares with the 7 Nations and 54 Communities access to employment opportunities and education opportunities.
