**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' hearing abilities using specialized equipment.
- Diagnose auditory disorders and recommend appropriate treatment plans, including hearing aids and rehabilitation programs.
- Educate patients and their families about hearing loss, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with physicians, speech therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Stay current with advancements in audiology practices and technologies through continuous education.
- Provide counseling to patients regarding the emotional impact of hearing loss and available resources.

**Requirements**:

- A graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program
- Registration with the relevant governing body in good standing
- Working knowledge of hearing health care products and services with diagnostic/dispensing experience
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to audiology and otolaryngology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
