POSITION OVERVIEW
The functional analyst will report to the Manager, IT Solution Delivery (Financial Solutions). They will be the main analyst supporting our Venture Capital group and be responsible for the maintenance and evolution of their CRM and investment portfolio pipeline management tools and their integrations with other systems.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET- Understand business reality and needs, be able to summarize, translate into functional requirements, and document the detailed functional specifications- Maintain ongoing communication with users and key stakeholders- Act as a system expert and advise users on functionalities and best practices- Identify opportunities to evolve existing systems, tools and practices and implement them in collaboration with other IT members and business users.- Ensure quality and stability of delivered IT systems by following the Product Lifecycle development standards and documentation practices
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
**Qualifications**:
- Bilingualism: Strong communication skills in English and French (spoken and written)- Strong analytical capabilities, logical reasoning, and technical documentation skills- Resourceful; ability to solve problems, autonomous and self-motivated-
- Willingness and capacity to quickly learn new systems and processes- Understanding of ETL processes and SQL database management- Demonstrate a high level of personal commitment and accountability to the business with a focus on quality and customer service.- Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT work experience- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, business, mathematics or equivalent
Assets:
- Development experience with.NET, C#- Understanding of CI/CD principles and working in an agile environment- Knowledge of Restful Web Services and Web Page development- Technical understanding of investment portfolio management tools and/or Venture Capital domain
