Functional Analyst

**The team**:
Genetec is currently looking for a Functional Analyst. We are looking for a dynamic and efficient individual who loves to work in a fast-paced environment. You will allow Genetec to distinguish itself by providing its customers and business partners with value-added tools and portals. These new tools and portals will be closely linked to the various systems [e.g., ERP, CRM] already in place at Genetec.

As a Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for designing solution based on the business requirement analysis. performing Gap Analysis, evaluating the feasibility of a solution, preparing technical and functional design documentation, interacting with the solutions Architect, developers, QA Analyst and Business Analyst to ensure solution is align with the business requirements. You will create functional design documents that include mock-up and technical details of the solution to facilitate handoff to the dev team.

This position requires attention to detail and the ability to align requirements with system capabilities.

**What your day will look like**:

- Develop and maintain effective relationships and interactions with all actors involves
- Develop Functional Design Documentation that details the solutions required in detail
- Create functional specification and prepare wireframes/flowcharts
- Review Solution design with the Development team to translate into actionable work items
- Analyse the existing systems and highlight areas of improvement
- Oversee the development of the product as per the specifications
- Contribute to project management activities
- Facilitate change and configuration management and create configuration document
- Monitor performance, discover variances and propose necessary actions
- Follow up and ensure that software defects are resolved
- Contribute to the Genetec Information Systems knowledge base, the development of the delivery framework and project management activities using Kanban methodologies

**About you**:

- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, or equivalent
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Dynamics products (D365 Finance and Operation) and CRM
- 5+ years of pertinent experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in configuring and managing ERP
- Experience with ERP implementation or upgrade
- Ability to act as change agent, solid interpersonal skills and focused on customer service
- Experience in multinational business environment
- Superior communication and negotiation skills
- Bilingual, French and English

**Technical Requirements**:

- Experience with Functional Design and Analysis of Enterprise systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM) or F&O, SAP or other
- Experience in systems configuration to adapt to business process
- Experience in Training End users on news systems functionalities
- Functional understanding of Microsoft Dynamics migration, integration & customization, Power App
