**Job Summary**
The Project Coordinator at our company is key in connecting sales with the delivery of lighting materials to our clients. This role is vital in managing every aspect of order fulfillment, from the first order placement to the final coordination at the site, making sure all steps are carried out both efficiently and effectively. The Project Coordinator collaborates closely with multiple departments such as sales, operations, warehousing, and finance, to guarantee the timely delivery of our top-quality lighting products and services, in line with customer requirements.
**Duties**:
- **Order Planning and Cut Sheet Packages**: Collaborating with the sales team to understand project requirements and customer specifications, creating detailed cut sheet packages, and organizing phased shipments.
**Just-in-Time Purchasing from Multiple Vendors**: Coordinating with various vendors for timely material procurement and managing vendor releases to balance inventory with project shipment schedules.
**Scheduling Shipments**: Working with vendors and the warehouse to align product availability and shipment schedules with project deadlines and customer expectations.
**Record Keeping**: Maintaining organized and accurate records of orders, purchases, shipments, and invoices using relevant tools and software, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible.
**Invoicing**: Generating and processing invoices in line with order fulfillment and project timelines and collaborating with finance to ensure accurate billing and resolve any discrepancies.
**Monitoring and Reporting**: Keeping track of order progress, identifying areas for improvement in the order fulfillment process.
**Process Improvement**: Assisting in developing and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction._Note: Specific responsibilities and duties may vary based on company structure and operational needs_
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in a lighting distribution or related industry. - Solid understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and order fulfillment processes. - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. - Proficiency in project management software and tools relevant to order management and logistics. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations. - Asset: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
