**PROJECT COORDINATOR**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As part of the Project Management Team, the Project Coordinator assists in various phases of construction projects - commercial and residential construction - at the Mann Group.

**RESPONIBILITIES**
**Project Planning and Organization**
- Prepare/edit construction schedules, look-ahead, and decision schedules.
- Maintains and organizes project documentation - Contracts, Purchase Orders, Meeting Minutes, Projects Drawings, SI’s, RFI’s, Safety reports, punch lists, and other pertinent files.

**Communication and Coordination**
- Work closely with the Project Managers and Site Superintendents to complete construction projects successfully - on-time and on-budget.
- Support the PM by coordinating and scheduling work schedules with the trades, confirming scheduled dates with direction/input from the PM.
- Foster effective customer, trade, contractor, and vendor relationships.
- Attend site meetings and take detailed minutes.

**Monitoring and Reporting**
- Project accounting related tasks related to budget management including coding trade invoices, change order management, trade progress invoice tracking against contracts, and progress claim preparation and review.

**Administrative Support**
- Prepare and send out purchase orders, change orders, and RFI’s.
- Prepare release of holdback requests & certificates of completion.

**On-Site Duties**
- Attend site meetings and take detailed minutes.
- Other related duties as required.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- A minimum of 3-5 years related construction experience.
- Education: Completion of Secondary School, Project Administration or equivalent education designation, or min 5 years’ experience in this role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and task organization
- Strong oral, written, computer communication and technical presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.

**ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL EFFORT REQUIRED**:
Work is mostly at a desk in a busy office environment but may also be assigned to work from a site trailer. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, manage priorities, and multi-task.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Construction: 3 years (preferred)
