Sirius Controls is a progressive and rapidly growing company well positioned in the manufacturing industry. We are looking to add a self-motivated and capable member to join our team.

We have an immediate full-time opening for an Soldering Technician in our Edmonton facility.

**Job Summary**

**DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Hand soldering of through hole and surface mount components.
- Inspection of final assembly of PCB boards.
- Perform touch up work on assembled PCB.
- Verify correct part placement.
- Repair and overhaul older devices and replace defective components.
- Visual inspection of assemblies per the IPC-A610 standard.
- Product and materials packing for shipment.
- Performing inventory counts.
- Participate in team level quality improvement initiatives.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 4 to 6 years of electronic hand soldering and/or rework experience
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English - written and oral
- Experience with Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- High school or equivalent experience preferred

- electronics board repair: 4 years (preferred)
- soldering: 6 years (preferred)
