The Instrument Assembly Technician will play an important role in ensuring that the the instruments are produced according to the production schedule and to the quality standards required of an ISO certified company.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Team Leader, Instrument Production, you will be responsible for assembling, testing and troubleshooting of monitoring equipment. Your background in assembly greatly aids the Instrument Production team and delivers fast and efficient resolution to any issues that may arise. You will be tasked with assembling instruments of different configurations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the high quality and standards of the company and our customers.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

These are the types of things you can expect to be involved with on a daily basis:

- Assemble instruments following documented assembly procedures
- Build electronic assemblies which may include some board re-work and soldering
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, work orders or reports
- Provide feedback and corrections on the above documentation as required
- Test and troubleshoot equipment, and correct any defects
- Set up and operate hand and power tools
- Keep track of material, tools and equipment, and inform supervisor of shortages
- Work independently while following established company policy and procedures
- Properly and consistently document and follow established procedures
- Wear proper PPE at all times
- Other duties as assigned

- Experience with electronics
- Soldering experience
