Overview:
Le Centre de santé Tulattavik de L’Ungava est situé à Kuujjuaq. Il dispense l’ensemble des services de santé et services sociaux dans la partie est du Nunavik. Il dessert sept communautés Inuites avec autant de CLSC, un centre pour personnes âgées et un centre hospitalier à Kuujjuaq. Il emploie environ 1,000 employés : administrateurs, professionnels, médecins, dentistes, psychologues, infirmiers, travailleurs sociaux, personnel de soutien, employés occasionnels, etc.

Les communautés du Nunavik sont situées au nord du 55e parallèle où prévaut un climat subarctique. Il entraîne l’existence d’un pergélisol et ne permet aucune agriculture. Le Nunavik est la plus grande région couvrant environ le tiers de la superficie globale du Québec. Aucune liaison routière n’existe entre les communautés du Nunavik et le Québec méridional, ni entre les communautés du Nunavik elles-mêmes. On a accès à cette région et à ses communautés que par avion et par bateau.

**STATUT**: Poste cadre intermédiaire, permanent à temps complet

**SUPÉRIEUR IMMÉDIAT**: Coordonnateur des services de réadaptation sur l’Hudson

**DÉBUT DE LA FONCTION**:Dès que possible**

**FONCTIONS**:

- Administre et gère toutes les activités liées à l'Unité de réadaptation et à ses ressources humaines, en assurant la planification budgétaire, l'évaluation des besoins matériels et la dotation en personnel;
- Assure la qualité des services en développant des activités thérapeutiques adaptées aux jeunes.
- Assure une communication continue avec les parents et les intervenants impliqués.
- Voit à la formation du personnel.
- Assure des normes adéquates de sécurité, d'ordre et d'hygiène dans le centre grâce à la mise en œuvre de politiques et de procédures.

Qualifications:

- Cinq années d’expérience pertinente en réadaptation
- Solides compétences en leadership
- Connaissance du développement des enfants et des jeunes et de la théorie de l'attachement
- Aptitude à enseigner et à former le personnel en ce qui concerne le développement des enfants et des jeunes et la théorie de l'attachement
- Des capacités significatives pour organiser et gérer le personnel, les budgets et les installations matérielles
- Responsable et éthique, en particulier en ce qui concerne la confidentialité du client
- Capable de communiquer avec les professionnels et la population
- Bilingue (anglais / inuktitut) est un atout
- Réussite de la vérification des antécédents criminels
- Posséder un permis de conduire valide

**SALAIRE**: Classe 37, selon les normes en vigueur au MSSS

Minimum: 80,052 $ /année Maximum: 104,066 $ /année **PRIME D'ÉLOIGNEMENT**: 11,580 $ ou 20,4122 $ par année, selon le statut familial

**PRIME VIE CHÈRE**:6,094 $ par année, ou plus selon le statut familial

**PRIME DE RÉTENTION**: 7,260 $ par année ou plus selon les années de service

**STATUS**: Mid-Manager, permanent full time position

**SUPERVISOR**: Hudson Rehabilitation Services Coordinator

**STARTING DATE**:As soon as possible**

**FUNCTIONS**:

- Administer and manage all activities related to the Rehabilitation Unit and its human resources, ensuring budget planning, assessment of material needs and staffing;
- Ensure the quality of services by developing and leading therapeutic activities and counseling; Ensure flow of communications with the client’s parents and other interveners;
- Ensure training of staff;
- Ensure adequate standards of safety, order and hygiene in the center through the implementation of policies and procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Five (5) years of pertinent experience in rehabilitation
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of child and youth development, and attachment theory
- Ability to teach and train staff regarding child and youth development and attachment theory
- Significant capacities to organize and manage staff, budgets and material installations
- Responsible and ethical, especially pertaining to client confidentiality
- Able to communicate with professionals and the population
- Bilingual (English/French) Inuktitut is a major asset
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Possess a valid driver’s license

**SALARY**: Class 37 - according to MHSS regulations

Minimum: $ 80,052 /year Maximum: $104,066 /year

**ISOLATION PREMIUM**: $11,580 or $ 20,412 per year; as per the family status

**HIGH COST OF LIVING: $**6,094 per year, or more according to the family status

**RETENTION PREMIUM**: $7,260 per year or more, according to years of service
