Lais Hotel Properties Limited is currently searching for a Sales Coordinator to join our growing Sales team

**What you'll be doing**:

- Prepares contracts and does follow-ups with guests and/or clients.
- Takes inquiries for day meetings and prepares contracts.
- Books and distributes all paperwork for all internal meetings.
- Maintains and updates all necessary sales tools including but not limited to menus, yield management info, sales kits and brochures.
- Responsible for the pickup and drop off of all internal and external mail for the sales team.
- Ensures that all definite files are distributed each day to the appropriate properties.
- Assists the sales team in preparing group files, assisting with direct mail programs, assisting with incoming telephone calls and inquiries, faxing and filing.
- Maintains the office supplies and prepares order forms.
- Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and services.
- Suggesting additional product and services meeting our Guests’ specific preferences.
- Assessing Guests’ individual needs to meet standards for additional products and services.
- Actively seeking ways to meet Guests’ product or service needs.
- All other duties as assigned.

**What you'll bring to the team**:

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent combined with at least six (6) months experience in a similar position.
- Intermediate computer knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Previous up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capable of prioritizing work and handling a variety of tasks.
- Confidence in selling and up-selling products and services.
- Positive sales oriented personality.
