We are seeking a Legal Operations Manager to join our Legal department and lead our Legal Operations function. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, this position will be responsible for the operations of the legal department, scaling the operational, strategic, and technical functions of the Legal department.

**What You'll Do**:

- Build and execute a multi-year strategic roadmap for the legal operations function to support an innovative, and global Legal team.
- Identify and implement strategic, financial and operational initiatives to enhance legal department efficiency
- Manage and refine the day-to-day operations (e.g. e-billing, onboarding) of the legal department
- Develop and iterate on legal department metrics and reporting for quarterly business reviews.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure the legal team is aligned with the broader business goals and participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Facilitate company-wide training on Legal tools, train the team and the broader organization on legal processes and procedures (e.g. new software or process rollout),
- Serve as a resource to the Legal Leadership Team and their teams for Special Projects and cross-functional problem solving

**What We Look For**:

- 5 to 7 years of experience in legal operations at a technology company, background in finance preferred
- Ability to be both a strategic thinker & a natural problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven self-starter who can prioritize and manage multiple projects and responsibilities with agility and efficiency, acting as a pivotal contributor to a high-performing team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including diplomacy, sensitivity, and interacting well with team members at all levels
- Proactive and adaptable: confidently makes informed decisions, thrives with mínimal guidance, and enjoys a dynamic environment that celebrates innovation.
- Inquisitive nature: loves to pose questions, challenge processes, etc.
- Strong project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills (PMP or Agile certification is a plus)
- Experience with legal technology (evaluation and implementation of solutions)
- Technical expertise in contract lifecycle management tools (e.g. Ironclad), e-billing tools (e.g. SimpleLegal), and Google Suite collaboration tools
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational and time management skills

**Pay Grade** - CAN29

**Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.**

CAN Base Pay Range:
Min: $105,300

Mid: $131,600

Max: $157,900
