CP Distributors has a current opening for an ambitious **Production Manager** located in **Saskatoon, SK**.

As the **Production Manager**, you will be responsible to:

- Establish and monitor processes, systems, standard operating procedures, methods, and projects designed to promote best practices and production efficiency
- Establish quality control measures and work with the Production team to document and investigate quality control issues effectively
- Utilize continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) to improve efficiency
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and waste reduction while maintaining high standards of quality
- Establish strong relationships with vendors and suppliers ensuring production can be optimized
- Work collaboratively across the organization seeking feedback and establishing effective relationships with division leaders and branch managers
- Oversee and manage production facility including people, financials, and HSE goals

**Your Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, or related field/combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in process engineering, production, or manufacturing facility management; commercial building products experience preferred
- Experience in leading the setup of manufacturing/fabrication facilities and production processes
- Certification in continuous improvement methodologies (Kaisen, Lean Six Sigma, etc.)

- Critical/logical thinking and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proven skills in leading/managing through others
- Action orientated and willing to challenge the status quo
