**Pharmacy Assistant** **Introduction** **Company** **Position Overview** **Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**: - Provide front-line customer service including greeting, and engaging customers and providing pharmacy information and program details with a strong focus on customers' needs. - Answer telephone calls and respond to customer concerns/ inquiries in a professional manner. - Provide customer service support to Pillway patients over the phone, pre-screen new patients before Pharmacist onboarding. - Assist in the daily operation of the pharmacy, including packaging, labelling, and scheduling outbound deliveries. - Process prescription billing and coordinate with patient insurance coverage. - Manage inventory control which includes: ordering, maintaining, and organizing appropriate inventory and packaging supplies to support dispensing activities. - Understand, adhere to, and enforce Corporate Policies & Procedures, Privacy Policies, Emergency Procedures and Health and Safety Standards for all participants and staff. - Perform clerical duties, such as filing, shredding, updating patient records. - Perform other related tasks as assigned. **Qualifications** - Has obtained or is working towards a College/University degree. - Strong communication skills and proficiency in English and French. - Eager to learn new technology/software - Organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as required. - Interpersonal skills, ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment. **Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per year
