Human Resource Administrator

Signature Supplements Inc. is currently seeking a _Human Resource Coordinator_, who will act as a bridge between our employees and the leadership team. This person is responsible for talent acquisition, team training matrix, performance review tracking, wellness programs, payroll, and policy development.
We are looking for someone with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The right person will have excellent administrative skills with an interest in supporting multiple departments and the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Respond to all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
- Complete new hire orientations, coordinate training sessions and maintain employee training records
- Maintain both hard and digital copies of employees' records (including payroll, personal information, leave, turnover rates, etc.)
- Coordinate internal company performance management activities
- Schedule meetings, interviews, office activities, and maintain agendas
- Produce and submit reports on business HR activities
- Complete payroll, track overtime, manage time off requests, and track absenteeism
- Familiar with benefits plan set up and administration
- Develop new company policies and implement across all department teams
- Maintain good documentation practices with filing systems for controlled documents, such as employee files
- Collaborate with all departments to offer support on ad-hoc requests and projects
**Requirements & Attributes**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related
- 3 years of experience in Human Resources is required with an understanding of functions, best practices, and exposure to labour law and employment equity regulations
- Effective administration and people leadership skills
- Exposure to payroll and group benefits
- Ability to handle confidential information
- In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, such as resume databases and online communities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
This is a full time (40 hours/week) permanent opportunity that offers a starting wage of $22 - $25 per hour. Hours are 9am - 5pm with two (2) weeks’ vacation per year along with four (4) personal days, health benefits and a Group Saving Benefits.
