Reporting to the Academic Program Manager, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Enrollment Expansion Coordinator will be an individual prepared to have honest conversations and demonstrate compassion as a liaison on behalf of the Community Studies subdivision, and maintain close communication with the Chair of Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC), the Academic Program Manager, interested Indigenous partners, as well as other sectors of the college, to meet targeted enrolment within the Early Learning and Child Care sector programs.

The Enrolment Expansion Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational leadership for the effective coordination of enrolment expansion within the Early Learning & Care Certificate and Diploma Programs in the Faculty of Arts & Sciences.

This position plays a critical role in creating, implementing, and advising on targeted enrolment growth pathways and processes that meet the identified needs and aspirations of Indigenous and community partners, while ensuring financial stewardship, sustainability, and compliance.

**HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**:

- Liaise with various college areas and leaders (ie Office of the Registrar), as well as external Indigenous and non-Indigenous community partners, on intentional and responsive pathways and admissions and enrolment approaches into ELCC programs within the Faculty of Arts & Sciences.
- Communicate and coordinate enrolment and admissions priorities and aspirations of Indigenous community partners regarding the ELCC Enrolment Expansion program to the Community Studies leadership.
- Lead the development and maintenance of relationships/partnerships, and serve as the primary point of contact regarding the ELCC Enrolment Expansion Program.
- Work collaboratively on developing responsive plans for the delivery of ELCC programming that meets the identified needs of Indigenous community partners.
- Contribute, coordinate and lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of ELCC Enrolment Expansion projects and initiatives based on community-partner feedback and insights to build a foundation for future enrolment initiatives across the faculty.
- Brief the Dean, APM, and Chair of Early Learning & Care on sensitive and/or time-sensitive issues for direction, and respond safely and respectfully to Indigenous peoples and other community partners.
- Develop and implement an engagement plan for Indigenous communities to increase awareness and accessibility of the ELCC Enrolment Expansion, as well as services and supports available to interested/prospective Indigenous learners in the Certificate/Diploma programs across the faculty.
- Identify and develop responsive and sustainable delivery and cost models based on Indigenous community partner identified needs, aspirations, and realities.
- Contribute to the development of sustainable wise practices, tools, and resources that support the responsiveness of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences in relation to Indigenous community partners needs and aspirations within higher education.
- Develop, recommend and implement Faculty-wide process improvements within enrolment and admissions in relation to the needs of Indigenous peoples and communities while working collaboratively with other business areas in the faculty.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:

- Minimum 3 years of related project/program coordination experience.
- Bachelor Degree in Indigenous Studies, Social Work or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of enrollment coordination processes, policies and procedures; keeping up with market and trends as needed.
- Proven leadership, experience and skills; demonstrated experience working with different levels of leadership to engage and influence positive outcomes.

- Awareness of sensitivities and interests of Indigenous peoples and community partners that work to establish, strengthen, and advance relationships.
- A high level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other team members and with those from other areas
